**Please note that the following change to the Annual Labor Day Bridge Walk is beyond our control:
The Mackinac Bridge Authority (MBA) implemented a policy change beginning with the 2018 event that eliminated all bus transportation across the bridge. This decision was made in response to increased security concerns raised by law enforcement and logistical issues that occurred during the 2017 walk.
As a result, participants will now be walking to the middle of the bridge and turning around to return to their starting side, rather than walking the full length and being picked up at the opposite side of the bridge.
We appreciate your understanding as we follow the rules and guidelines set forth by the MBA.
