Does Beyond Horizons have a "Damage and Incidental Disclosure"?

Yes. At Beyond Horizons Tour and Travel, we strive to provide exceptional travel experiences for our valued customers. As part of our commitment to transparency and accountability, we want to inform our travelers of our policy regarding property damage and incidental charges during their journey.

Property Damage: While we trust that our travelers will treat all accommodations and amenities with respect, accidents can happen. In the event that a traveler damages any property belonging to the accommodations or any other third party during their trip, they will be held responsible for the cost of repairing or replacing the damaged property.

Incidental Charges: Some accommodations may require a security deposit or may charge for incidental expenses such as room service, mini-bar items, or other services. If Beyond Horizons Tour and Travel is charged for any such incidentals on behalf of a traveler, the cost will be passed on to the traveler, and they will be responsible for reimbursing us for these expenses.

We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise during travel, and we encourage our travelers to communicate any concerns or issues they may encounter during their journey. Our team is here to assist and ensure that every aspect of their travel experience is as enjoyable and stress-free as possible.

By booking a trip with Beyond Horizons Tour and Travel, travelers agree to adhere to this policy regarding property damage and incidental charges. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding in maintaining the integrity of our travel services.

Can I bring personal items on the bus?

One-Day Motorcoach Trips: Each passenger is allowed a personal item such as a purse and, if needed, a carry-on bag (restrictions apply and must be of a reasonable size to allow space for all guests).

Multi-Day Motorcoach Trips: Each passenger is allowed either one medium and one small suitcase OR one large suitcase. Each passenger is also allowed a personal item such as a purse and carry-on bag (restrictions apply and must be of a reasonable size to allow space for all guests).
Occupancy & Seating: Passengers booking a single room, for a multiple day trip, will NOT be guaranteed two seats on the motorcoach. Someone may sit next to you. Occupancy rates only apply to your room and do not grant you two seats on the motorcoach or other transportation that may be used for your trip. If you would like two seats for one person, please notify us and we will let you know if there is an option to purchase a second seat on the motorcoach. Guests booking a trip as double occupancy MUST notify us if they have a need for either one or two beds at the time they book their trip.

Can I reserve my own seat?

Yes. Passengers have the opportunity to reserve a specific seat on the motorcoach for a cost of $5 per person per travel day of the tour, ensuring you can sit exactly where you prefer for the duration of your journey. Seat reservations are available on a first come, first serve basis, with full payment required at the time of request. Please note that payments for reserved seats are non-refundable.

I take medication that must be refrigerated. Do you provide coolers for that?

If you, the passenger, require refrigerated or cooled medication, it is your responsibility to acquire the appropriate means of cooling. Some, but not all, hotel facilities have a refrigerator.

Are meals included on all trips?

When a trip description lists meals as being included, there is no guarantee as to the type of dining establishment or food selection, unless we specifically name the restaurant and/or meal. These meals are still subject to change due to factors beyond our control such as menu availability at the restaurant. Likewise, when breakfast is included in a trip, it is a hotel breakfast, unless otherwise described. If breakfast is included at the hotel, the selection and other factors are beyond our control. Sometimes, often on day trips, we make a stop where one or more fast food establishments are located, and you may choose where and what you would like to eat at your own cost.

Can I bring alcohol on the bus?

When traveling with Beyond Horizons Tour & Travel, guests who choose to drink agree to do so responsibly, and not disturb other guests. Failure to adhere to this is a breach of this policy and could result in being removed from the trip at the guest’s expense and it will be their responsibility to make new arrangements.

Can I smoke or vape?

At Beyond Horizons Tour & Travel, the safety and comfort of our passengers are our top priorities, which is why we strictly enforce a no smoking and no vaping policy. Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited onboard the motorcoach and we ask that passengers refrain from smoking or vaping within 15 feet of the motorcoach. This policy complies with federal laws that ban smoking and vaping on motorcoaches. Passengers found smoking or vaping onboard will be immediately removed from the tour without a refund.

Can I tip my driver?

If you feel your driver has done an excellent job, it is appropriate to tip them. We suggest a minimum of $3 per person per day for the driver.

Do you offer travel insurance?

Beyond Horizons Tour & Travel offers travel insurance on all tours. For more information, please call our office at (989) 770-7077 and ask to speak to one of our travel agents.

When airfare is included in a trip, are luggage fees included?

To accommodate the unique luggage needs of each passenger, luggage fees charged by airlines are NOT included in the price of your trip and will vary based on the airline’s policies, fees, restrictions, etc., which are beyond Beyond Horizons Tour & Travel’s control.
